Can you pray and worship Allah (SWT) for 83 years without any interval? Practically, it’s not possible. But Allah (SWT) is the most generous and kind; He has given us the Laylatul Qadr. The rewards of Laylatul Qadr are equal to praying for 83 years and 4 months.
“The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was shown the lifeps of the people before him, or what Allah willed of that, and it was as if he thought that the lifep of his ummah was short, and they would be unable to reach the level of deeds as others before they had due to their long lives. Thus, Allah gave him Laylatul Qadr, which is better than a thousand months.” (Muwatta)
So, in reality, it is a blessing to us because of the Prophet (PBUH).
What Is Laylatul Qadr?
Laylatul Qadr is the Night of Power that falls on the last ten odd nights of Ramadan. It is the night when prayers get accepted; Allah (SWT) forgives our sins and increases our rewards. This is the most powerful night for Muslims.
Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to spend his last ten nights of Ramadan solely in the worship of Allah (SWT). He spent his days and nights in the remembrance of Allah and in seeking forgiveness from Allah (SWT). He (PBUH) taught us the way of praying on Laylatul Qadr with his deeds and actions.
